Partizip II als Adjektiv

Past Participle as Adjective

Partizip II (ge-...-t / ge-...-en) can be used as an attributive adjective — it expresses a passive, completed action. The noun received or underwent the action.

How the rule begins

The Partizip II is normally known from the Perfekt (Ich habe das Buch gelesen.) and the passive (Das Buch wird gelesen.). But it can also stand as an attributive adjective in front of a noun, declining like any other adjective.
