How the rule begins
The Konjunktiv II is the most important linguistic device for expressing Irrealität, Wünsche und Hypothesen. In this chapter we examine three central areas of use: wish clauses with modal particles, unreal comparisons with "als ob", and polite forms of expression in everyday and business language.
