How the rule begins
Thomas the Tiger knows that at B2 it is not enough to know that damit means "so that" and sodass means "with the result that". You have to master when to choose damit vs. um...zu, how so...dass works compared with sodass, and which nominal forms can replace these structures in formal texts.
